Law360, London (July 11, 2017, 4:26 PM BST) — European Union lawmakers investigating the Panama Papers tax evasion scandal on Monday heaped pressure on the bloc’s officials to stamp out practices of money laundering, tax evasion and avoidance.

Members of the European Parliament’s committee of inquiry into money laundering, tax avoidance and tax evasion, or PANA, accused EU members and the European Commission — the bloc’s executive — of lacking commitment to drive through reforms.
