RAWALPINDI: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq on Monday announced a revolt against what he called the ‘corrupt system’, saying he is a son of a labour and does not bow down before corrupt elements.
Leading the “Accountability March” being held from Lahore to Islamabad here, he said that the corrupt and drug mafias had taken Pakistan hostage, adding the prime objective of politicians was to increase their assets.
He said that all the departments formed to root out corruption in the country have failed.
Siraj said the accountability process had not completed with the accountability of Nawaz Sharif only, adding all 436 corrupts mentioned in the Panama Papers should be taken to the task.
