Court couldn’t record statement of JIT head

ISLAMABAD –  Accountability Court Islamabad could not record the statement of Joint Investigation Team Head Wajid Zia in assets beyond means corruption reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar due to non-availability of the original copy of JIT report and adjourned the hearing in the case till Feb. 12.

On Thursday when the court took up the case against former finance minister Ishaq Dar, JIT Chief Wajid Zia appeared before the court amid tight security. Investigation officer in the case Nadir Abbas was also present to depose before the court .
