ISLAMABAD                      : The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday filed an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) decision to grant bail to former premier Nawaz Sharif and other members of the Sharif family in the Avenfield reference case.

Deposed prime minister Nawaz, his daughter Maryam and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar were released from jail in September after the IHC suspended their prison sentences.
