ISLAMABAD: The Panama Papers issue continued to echo in the Parliament on Friday as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government revealed that notices had been sent to 294 Pakistanis named in the leaks.

A total of 444 Pakistani nationals were named in the Panama Papers leak.

Finance Minister Asad also outlined measures taken against Pakistanis listed in the leaks. Umar explained that a total of 444 were named in the documents; out of which, the authorities had sent notices to 294 Pakistanis.

The authorities could not trace at least 150 while four had given up their Pakistani nationalities.
