Looters bent on undermining 2019 elections – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a high powered delegation to condole with the government and people of Taraba over the death of eight people following a stampede during the presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress in Jalingo.
The delegation compromised of Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustafa, Governor Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa and Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Muhammad Bello, among others.
Speaking at Government House, Jalingo, on Sunday, Mustafa said they deployed by the president to commiserate with the people over the unfortunate incident.
According to him, the incident has further rekindled the determination of Buhari to be more determined to better the lives of ordinary Nigerians considering the sacrifice made by the deceased.
Mustafa urged politicians and other category of people to be mindful that Nigeria must remain united during and after the elections.
