LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday disclosed to have devised a strategy for reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan who secured a bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC) in connection with assets beyond means case the same day.
On February 6, Aleem was detained by the NAB while recording his statement in a case pertaining to an offshore company unveiled in the Panama Papers leaks and was sent on a nine-day physical remand the following day.
According to details, the investigation officers said that a supplementary reference will be filed against Khan if they won’t get a reply from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Britain regarding the case.
Sources told PTI stalwart is accused of making illegal assets worth Rs80 crore.
